Heart and Hands Wellness Center is excited to welcome Dr. Judy to our team. Dr. Judy has been an active member of Petaluma for over a decade. During that time, she has enthusiastically contributed to the community's health and wellness by teaching yoga, fitness and providing bodywork.
After graduating with a Baccalaureate in Psychology and Studio Arts, she was in a bad car accident. Dr. Judy sought alternative treatments and rehab when traditional medical approaches were unsuccessful. The tough but enlightening road to recovery inspired her to study become certified in yoga, NAFC Group Fitness, health and nutrition, Usui Reiki, acupressure, and homeopathic spinal alignment. She has also extensively studied the various performing arts.
And yet, Dr. Judy's studies and experience in healing arts was not complete. She then earned a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West, where she dedicated her time to learning, leadership and helping her classmates in that process.
Dr. Judy's chiropractic adjusting techniques include Diversified, Thompson Drop Table, and Toggle Upper Cervical. She specializes in adjusting extremities (feet, hands, shoulders, and the TMJ), holistic chronic pain management; as well as therapeutic and corrective exercises. She offers a unique technique, called endonasal cranial adjustments, that can benefit conditions such as: chronic headaches, seasonal allergies, trigeminal neuralgia, jaw pain, and post-concussion syndrome.
In addition to chiropractic and yoga, Dr. Judy loves her partner, John; her cat, and singing. She feels honored to share her passion for spinal care and movement with the patients of Heart and Hands Wellness Center.
